Healthy Homes + Buildings Group

The Healthy Homes + Buildings Group (HH+BG) is a membership organisation dedicated to improving health and wellbeing through healthier homes and buildings across the UK. The Group represents the industry voice, bringing together experts from construction, energy, energy efficiency, healthcare, academia, charities and government to collaborate, share best practice and drive positive change.

HH+BG builds strong relationships with government departments, agencies, local and combined authorities and other key decision-makers, with a particular focus on influencing policy at an early stage. Through its Champion network, policy workshops, meetings and industry events, the Group provides a forum for constructive engagement and enables members to contribute their expertise to emerging policy discussions.

The Group takes an industry-led but health-focused and technology-agnostic approach, prioritising improved health outcomes rather than the interests of individual organisations. Its scope covers both homes and wider buildings, including new build and retrofit.

HH+BG works collaboratively with existing trade associations and industry organisations, providing a collective voice and helping shape policy to support healthier, more sustainable indoor environments.
