Cities & Health – Congress Special Issues
The current Congress Issue of Cities & Health ‘Urban renewal and health equity through resilience and regeneration’ was conceived in the light of the Healthy City Design 2023 International Congress, which took place in Liverpool on 16-17 October 2023.
The annual Congress on creating healthy urban futures once again brought urban designers and planners, public health professionals, academics, developers, investors, community voices and policymakers together to discuss the latest interdisciplinary ideas, trends and impacts in this field.
The 2023 Congress Issue contains event reviews from both the 2022 and 2023 Congresses plus research articles and case studies. As with every issue of Cities & Health it contains a policy briefing from every research article in a handy paper called ‘Research for city practice’. Cities & Health is proud to announce that it also includes three articles arising from the work of the World Health Organization and Dr Nathalie Laure Roebbel’s urban health unit, which are all free to access (see below for a full list).
